Juan Antonio Roman is the 7th police officer to have been shot at in less than 48 hours. We're told the 54-year-old was shot while driving his pick up truck at around three this morning in south eastern Juarez.

Police chief Guillermo Prieto says since the beginning of the year, a dozen police officers have been killed.
