Friday, March 28, 2008 – Administrators at Thomason Hospital, say Sergeant Robert Shepperd was released this week. Sheppard was shot several times by Kurt Sohrbeck two weeks ago. A search for Sohrbeck ended Wednesday, after he was shot and killed by a Deputy in Cloudcroft. That shooting is now under review by the district Attorney’s office.
