Wednesday, March 26, 2008 – In October of 2007, the body of 78 year-old Klara Dietz was found in her home, on the 1200 block of Skyway. Investigators say an intruder broke into the home, hogtied her and then choked her.

In March of this year, the body of 72-year old James Francis Wilson was found by his friends at his home on the 1800 block of Camino Del Rex. Now police are not connecting the murders, but say both happened in neighborhoods with several elderly residents. They are urging people not to allow strangers into their homes and to keep their homes well lit.
