Police also arrested Daniel Lopez and Baltazar Galan Lopez and found 6 children and 3 adults in the house. All are believed to be undocumented immigrants.
Reporters saw several of the children being led out of the house one by one holding their belongings. Police loaded up a van with strollers and other items. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents are providing shelter for the immigrants.
An anonymous call tipped agents off to suspicious activity at the house. The tip was that strange people were always coming and going from the house and suspicious vehicles were frequently parked there.
But many neighbors say the neighborhood is quiet and they were shocked a stash house was operating next door.
Police say neighbors can play a big part in preventing stash houses. Also, look for different vehicles entering and exiting the garage, visitors with out-of-town license plates, and sudden activity after weeks of no activity.
