One investigation includes possible human trafficking. At about 11:30 this morning police say they got an anonymous call reporting suspicious activity at a home on the one-thousand block of Port Arthur lane.
The first officer on the scene noticed someone loading marijuana in a trailer hitched to a red Ford Expedition. The officer found more pot inside the house. He also discovered seven undocumented immigrants, many of them children. At this time we don't know if they were being held against their will or what condition they were in.
Two men were taken into custody, police say one is in his mid-twenties, the other in his late forties or early fifties. Police are investigating the narcotics bust and say they removed hundreds of pounds of pot from the home. Immigrantion and Customs Enforcement is leading a separate investigation into possible human trafficking.
