Tuesday, March 25, 2008 – Benjamin Romero Jr. was picked up by U.S. Marshals on a federal warrant; the incident started around 4 o’clock Tuesday morning, when El Paso County Sheriff’s responded to a family aggravated assault call, on the 10000 Block of Villa Del Mar. Authorities say the family called for help after a fight broke out between Romero and his son. According to reports, Romero then barricaded himself inside the home, with a gun. Romero could now face aggravated assault charges.
