Local hospital is raising awareness about brain injuries
NORTHEAST EL PASO — March is National Brain Injury Awareness Month and one local hospital is taking steps to inform the public.
William Beaumont Army Medical Center's Warrior Care Traumatic Brain Injury Clinic held an open house Tuesday to increase awareness about brain injuries including prevention, diagnosis and treatment.
Activities included a demonstration of treatment modules used to treat soldiers suffering from traumatic brain injury.
One physician at the center says they want to get the message out to everyone.
