EL PASO- There was a book signing today of a local guidance counselor at an east El Paso Barnes and Noble.

Albert Mendoza, who works for Socorro ISD, has published several books since 2009.  But this year he came out with a children's book on anti-bullying.

We're told that his book, enittled Baloney and the Bully Bandits was inspired by First Lady Michelle Obama's anti-bullying campaign.

But it also talks about other issues.

"A lot of the books have issues the kids I work with have gone through like death, separation anxiety for military parents, test anxiety.  Just all the things they go through," Mendoza said.

You can purchase Baloney and the Bully Bandits for just under $15 on the Barnes and Noble website.
