Local school districts are taking different approaches to President Obama's address to the nation's students, Tuesday.
Many parents have raised objections to the speech.
SISD will record the speech and review it to make sure it's purely educational. The speech would then be available later this week to schools who choose to show it.
EPISD will show the speech but it's optional. Parents who don't want their children to see it must let their school know and the kids will be moved to the library.
YISD has a similar policy. They'll show the speech but have given parents opt-out slips to turn in if they don't want their child to watch.
