EL PASO - After his visit on post, Defense Secretary Leon Panetta was honored this evening at a dinner sponsored by the El Paso Chamber of Commerce.

Secretary Panetta said Ft. Bliss is the premier post in the U.S. and that he is honored to visit with troops and their families today.

Mayor John Cook even presented him with a key to our city.

Several local city leaders were at the dinner, including County Judge Veronica Escobar and Congressman Silvestre Reyes.
