El Paso--El Paso water utilities is working on a project to  fix the flooding problems that often affect El Paso's East side. Lee Trevino is just one of the many roads that deals with flooding when rain hits the Sun City. The storm water project is in it's first phase of construction. Water utilities is working to divert stormwater runoff from street surfaces to underground storm drain pipes. Storm drain inlets will be installed near Lee Trevino under Pellicano, and James Watt drive. There are still 2 more phases to this project. Water utilities hopes the project is complete before the next rainy season.
