LAS CRUCES— Las Cruces police and Crime Stoppers is offering a reward for information that leads to the arrest of the suspect in Tuesday evening's assault and robbery of a teenage girl.

Las Cruces police were called the 3000 block of Hillrise Dr. where a robbery occurred as a 16-year-old girl was on her way home from work. The teenager suffered some scrapes and minor cuts during the struggle but was not seriously injured.

The suspect is described as being 5 feet, 7 inches tall, skinny, and having a light complexion. He was wearing a dark colored long-sleeve shirt, dark jeans, and white shoes.
