LC Man Arrested for Child Abuse After SWAT Standoff

LAS CRUCES - We're learning more about what led to a SWAT standoff in Las Cruces, near Spruce Ave, yesterday.

Reyes Francisco Perez, 26, was arrested on child abuse charges.

Las Cruces police said Perez was injecting himself with a hypodermic needle on Wednesday, and became angry when he noticed his nine-year-old daughter was watching him. He then repeatedly hit the girl, causing her to bruise.

Perez is now being held at the Dona Ana County detention center.

Another child abuse case, what the hell is going on in Las Cruces, Does the city have a permit saying.... Welcome to New Mexico the Land of Enchantment,Las Cruces where we sexualy and physcaly abuse our children. There must be something in the water!!!!!!!
