EL PASO — Tuesday was moving day for the Museums and Cultural Affairs Dept. in El Paso.
It is the next department to move out of City Hall.
The department is moving to 400 W. San Antonio Ave. Suite A., and will re-open April 1.
The new public hours will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Fridays.
Only two and a half weeks remain until City Hall is demolished.
Wednesday, the last round of city departments will relocate.
The Mayor's office, Municipal Clerk office, and the Office of Financial Services and Purchasing will move into the new City Hall at 300 N. Campbell.
These offices will also open April 1, from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Also, City Council meetings are temporarily being moved to the Main Auditorium in the El Paso Public Library, 501 N. Oregon, starting Tuesday.
Council chambers will eventually be located on the first floor of the Former El Paso Times building, but right now that building is still being renovated.
