Las Cruces teens arrested for joy ride
LAS CRUCES — Two Las Cruces teens had some fun yesterday when they went on a high speed joy ride, but now they're paying for it. It all started when a woman reported her car and her 15 year-old daughter missing. Dona Ana County sheriff's deputies quickly found the car, the girl, and her 15 year-old boyfriend, but when deputies tried to pull them over the pair sped up. The high speed chase ended minutes later when the boyfriend allegedly drove off Baylor Canyon Road. Both are facing multiple charges.
