The Las Cruces Police Department wants to meet with you, but don't worry  it's all for a good cause. Officers are setting up their Mobile Operations Command Center near the Las Cruces Museum of Nature and Science as a way of connecting with the community.

Residents are encouraged to stop by and visit with officers and discuss any law enforcement concerns they might have. No appointment is necessary.

Officers will also be giving out free child ID's and the museum will hosts several planned events for children during the three days. Officers will be at the Mobile Operations Command Center 24 hours-a-day beginning Thursday, November 21, 2013 at 10 am through Saturday, November 23 at 6 pm.
