LAS CRUCES-- Two overnight stabbings have sent two men to area hospitals.

Las Cruces police were called out to 330 Richard Dr. A 43-year-old man was airlifted to University Medical Center of El Paso for nine stab wounds. His injuries are believed to be non-life threatening.

LCPD then received another call after a 22-year-old man arrived at Memorial Medical Center with stab wounds to his arms and a finger. His injuries are also non-life threatening.

Investigators believe an altercation resulted in the men pulling knives on each other. It's still unclear what the argument was about or who caused it.

This case is still under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to call LCPD at 575-526-0795 or send a tip via e-mail at lcpdtips@las-cruces.org.
