The Las Cruces Police Department's Mobile Operations Command center will head to Mesa Grande Boulevard Thursday for three days.  The center will set up Thursday, March 14 at 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. Saturday, March 16.  The Mobile Operation Command will be stationed near Onate High School on the corner of Mesa Grande Boulevard and Bataan Memorial East.  On Friday and Saturday recruiting officers from the police department's training academy will be on hand from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. to answer questions and talk about career opportunities at the station.  People who live on East Mesa are also encouraged to stop by and discuss their concerns as well as their ideas to make the community safer.  On Saturday Las Cruces police will host a free Ident-A-Child program at the MOC from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.  For more information on the academy head to their website: www.CLCPD.com.
