EL PASO - Local police have arrested a Las Cruces man for cocaine and 17 outstanding warrants.

Police say they found John Morgan, 17, in possession of six plastic baggies of cocaine weighing a total of 2.8 grams.

The arrest happened in the 9600 block of Albacore yesterday morning.

Further investigation discovered that Morgan had 17 outstanding municipal warrants.

He is being held on $7,200 bond.
