TBG AND COMCORP EL PASO ANNOUNCE SHARED SERVICES ARRANGEMENTS FOR KDBC-TV, TTBG’S NEWLY ACQUIRED EL PASO, TX TELEVISION STATION

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
October 19, 2009
(El Paso, TX) – October 19, 2009 – TTBG El Paso OpCo LLC (“TTBG”) and Comcorp of El Paso, Inc. (“Comcorp El Paso”), announced today that they have entered into joint sales and shared services agreements under which Comcorp El Paso will provide sales and administrative services for KDBC-TV, TTBG’s newly acquired television station in the El Paso, TX television market.

TTBG’s acquisition of KDBC from the bankruptcy estate of its previous owner closed on October 15. TTBG retained Titan Broadcast Management, LLC (“Titan”) to manage KDBC on its behalf. Comcorp El Paso, which owns and operates television station KTSM in El Paso, is a subsidiary of Communications Corporation of America.

Under the terms of the agreements, KDBC’s new owner TTBG will retain responsibility for the station’s programming, personnel, and finances. Comcorp El Paso will assist KDBC and the Titan management team by providing advertising, sales, promotion, administrative services and some locally produced news and information programming for KDBC. Sharing administrative and other services with Comcorp El Paso will allow KDBC’s new owners to focus more of their resources on programming to address the needs and interests of El Paso and surrounding communities.

In making this announcement, Titan’s Chief Executive Officer Dan Sullivan said, “This arrangement will advance Titan’s goal of increasing the breadth and depth of local news and information on KDBC. The operating efficiencies from this arrangement will benefit both TTBG and Comcorp El Paso and will help to ensure a stable future for KDBC under TTBG’s stewardship. We look forward to working with Comcorp to ensure that KDBC continues to grow and succeed in serving the El Paso and Las Cruces communities.”

Comcorp El Paso Chief Executive Officer Steve Pruett stated, “Combining some of the back-office and news resources of these stations will make them both stronger and allow them to become even better community citizens. We believe this arrangement will provide many benefits to viewers of both KDBC and KTSM.”
