Mexico's federal police have announced the arrests of nine alleged drug traffickers including a senior officer.

The announcement of the arrests comes from Mexico City.

The nine suspects include Victor Manuel Felix or "El Senor".

Authorities say Felix is a close associate of Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzman.

The arrests took place during "Operation Colmena", which included raids in Jalisco, Quintana Roo and Mexico City.

Authorities also seized close to half a ton of cocaine, $500,000 in cash, four vehicles and communications equipment.

Yet another song and dance show from the ever lovable Mexican gov. to keep the people satisfied and fooled that they are doing something.

They don't want the war to stop when they are getting money thrown at them because they fooled the U.S. that they need help.

Help with what? The crimes against that nation are from its own gov. not the cartels.

I don't believe anything the Mexican government says or does. Should they have confiscated the cocaine, they will most likely have someone sell it for them and keep the money.
They fight against the Cartel because they are corrupt themselves
