JUAREZ: Seven Dead in Less than 24 hours

JUAREZ--- Seven people have been murdered in Juarez since Friday night. Two were university students at a house party.

According to witnesses, a couple of men walked into the home in North Juarez and shot them in the garage, where most of the students were gathered.
Two died at the scene, Mexican authorities say another was kidnapped.

The manager of a convenience store was killed in East Juarez during a robbery.
Three men walked into the store, told customers to get on the floor and demanded money from the cashier, said Juarez police leaders.
Soon afterwards, the manager was shot and killed.

Also in East Juarez, gunmen attacked a family in their Ford Explorer.
The father was shot while trying to run away from his attackers, yet he died.
His wife and two children were able to escape, police said.

In South Juarez, a man is gunned down after being followed by a group of men.
According to police, the man snuck into a home trying to hide. The men followed him inside, and that's where they gunned down the 32-year-old.

Two other men were also executed in a South Juarez colonia.
The gunmen attacked the men on the street, police said.
Victims nearby in their homes told police they heard gunshots.
No arrests were made in any of these incidents, despite Juarez have 2,600 federal agents, more than 5,000 soldiers, and 3,000 municipal police patrolling the city.
