The body of a man was discovered in the Rio Grande Friday morning. According to police, the man was kidnapped two days ago. His family had paid his ransom but negotiations didn't work.

A man was murdered in a Juarez Colonia. He and a woman were driving in a Crown Victoria when they were attacked by several people. The woman was injured in the attack.

A body that was wrapped in a blanket was dumped in south Juarez. The victim had been shot several times. He has not been identified.

Thursday night, a woman was found murdered at a cemetery. The woman in her 30's was found on top of a grave. This woman is at least the seventh female murdered this week.

Mexican soldiers have been seen lately at crime scenes, a sight that became unusual after the federal police took control of the city's security. While it appears soldiers are helping investigations again, no official statement has been given by any Juarez official announcing that the military is back on the streets.
