Jobless Rate in El Paso Keeps Falling

EL PASO - If you needed to hear some good news on the economy, here it is: the unemployment rate in El Paso has fallen for a third, straight month.
The jobless rate is now down to 9.6 percent, with just over 30,000 people still looking for work.
While this signals some progress, our current jobless rate in El Paso is still well above the national rate, which is at 8.5 percent.
