EL PASO - They are the workforce of the future.

Today, thousands of UTEP students with resumes in hand set out to find a job.

The university held a job fair today featuring some big name employers.

They include Microsoft, General Motors, Shell Oil and Texas Instruments.

Students we talked with say the job search is harder than ever.

"I think it's difficult with the current crisis and situation in the world. I think it's very difficult to get a job."

"For my field, environmental science, I had to look elsewhere, but there's definitely positions here. They're just far and few between."

This is the largest career expo available to UTEP students during the school year.
