"Bartending Chefs" Create Infused Liquor Cocktails

If you're looking for a caffeine boost or just a mellow place to unwind, a new café in west El Paso aims to hit that spot.

Aside from brewing locally grown coffee beans, 'Eloise,' a Wes Anderson-themed café will also add specialty beer, wine and uniquely infused liqour to the menu. The bar staff prides in their mission to bring creativity to mixing spirits with unexpected flavors like Hatch green chiles, cinnamon, apples or vanilla, depending on the harvest season.

"We want our staff to feel like chefs with ice," said assistant manager Laura Perez. "Our cocktails will stimulate a lot of different senses, smell, taste. We'll have something for everybody."

Musician Jim Ward and his wife Kristine adopt the similar ecclectic atmonsphere found at their affiliated local bars, Hope & Anchor and Bowie Feathers.

'Eloise,' located at 255 Shadow Mountain is set to open Oct. 19.
