Customers line up for Apple's fourth generation iPhone...
Some of the 600-thousand who pre-ordered their new iPhone 4G took delivery earlier this week.
"I think I tweeted, ‘Christmas came early’”, said owner Gil Cabrera of San Diego. “I got my iPhone"
But unless you got your pre-order in before the process was halted because of overload last week, your chances of just walking in today to buy one are slim.
San Diego's Gil Cabrera got his on Tuesday and immediately took to an iPhone highlight.
"I'm a dad so it's nice to have HD. It records HD video and so that's really handy. I always have my phone with me but I don't necessarily have my camera with me so that's really nice”, said Cabrera.
Those videos can then be edited right on the iPhone with Apple's iMovie application.
Plus, there’s advanced GPS.
"Look”, said Cabrera. “It knows where I am--it's giving me San Diego real estate ads"
Also because of its front facing camera, a video conferencing feature called "Facetime" is offered on this latest iPhone.
AND, BY THE WAY, YES.. IPHONE 4G MAKES PHONE CALLS...WHICH, REVIEWERS SAY, MAY BE ITS ONLY DOWNSIDE. THERE'S ONLY ONE PROVIDER...AT&T.
And, by the way, yes…iPhone 4G makes phone calls as well, which reviewers say may be its only downside: there’s only one provider, AT&T.
