EL PASO - Sheriff's deputies suspect arson in a second fire in just one week at old Magic Landing Amusement Park.

Fire crews from Clint, Socorro and Horizon Fire Departments were called out at about 9:30 p.m. Sunday.

According to firefighters, the structure was once again, fully engulfed in flames.

Eileen Lopez, spokesperson for the El Paso County Sheriff's Office, said investigators suspect arson.

"From what we understand on the preview occassions, there is no electricity, there's nothing that can actually cause the fire so we are thinking that it possibly is arson," she said.

Last Monday, firefighters were called out to another fire at the same location.  Lopez said the Sheriff's Office is concerned about the recent fires, and they have increased their patrol in the area.

"This property is abandoned and its surrounded by desert area so it's hard to get to this area from the street. You actually have to be on foot if you're going to jump the walls on this property," said Lopez.

Lopez said there have been nine fires at the old magic landing in the past four years
