El Paso Police alerted the public to a serious two-car accident on the intersection of Dyer and Sun Valley where a 2-year-old boy was seriously injured after being ejected from a red Chevy pickup.
Investigators said he landed on the roadway and was rushed to University Medical Center with serious injuries.

Another toddler riding in the same truck, said to be three years old, along with a female passenger, were also injured in the crash and taken to University Medical Center.  The second vehicle involved was a Ford SUV with two passengers.  One was taken to a William Beaumont Army Medical Center however they both suffered non-life threatening injuries.

Failure to yield the right of way on the part of the Chevrolet truck is a contributing factor in this collision. The truck was equipped with child seats.

This investigation continues.
