DEMING, NM - A federal inmate remains on the run after escaping the Luna County Detention Center.

Last night, the U.S. Marshals Service was advised that three prisoners, including Mario Martinez-Rios, had escaped through a hole in the fence.

The other two inmates, Alberto Grijalba-Murillo and Julio Mendoza-Acosta, were spotted by CBP helicopter and taken back into custody.

Martinez-Rios was originally in custody for charges of illegal entry into the United States.

Anyone with information on Martinez-Rios should contact the U.S. Service in Las Cruces at (575) 527-6850.
