EL PASO – A former EPISD employee, indicted in a federal corruption probe, is making good money.

A grand jury indicted former EPISD associate superintendent Tomas Gabaldon last November.

He's accused of taking bribes and kickbacks, and using his position to help a business get a contract with the school district.

Right now, Gabaldon is collecting a $63,000 a year salary, as a Special Projects Manager for the Albuquerque School District.

A representative for that district said there's nothing illegal about Gabaldon working for them, while under indictment.

WOW, if there is nothing illegal about Gabaldon working for them while under indictment, I can only imagine what type of criminals Albuquerque ISD has on their payroll. Parents should be alarmed, this means they have other felons (criminal/sex offenders)on staff endangering student's safety. The representative is actually stating that Albuquerque ISD approves of corruption, bribes, etc.

Gabaldon, another worthless crook from EPISD like the current crook Garcia. WHAT YA GONNA DO WHEN THEY COME FOR YOU BAD BOYS, BAD BOYS? YOUR NEXT PUNK!!!

Good for him. Congratulations. Everyone deserves a second chance, even you Estephania. Reporting on this two bit story. Give us news that is actually important and worthwhile.
