It's tough having to be away from your family on special occassions. But imagine this: children who have crossed the border illegally, not knowing what their future holds, spending Christmas alone. That's the case for two dozen teens being housed here in El Paso.
An organization that looks after them while the system figures out what to do with them held a Christmas celebration. NewsChannel 9 was there as the kids put on a play and sang Christmas carols as part of their event.
If you'd like to donate a gift to any of the children housed at Southwest Key Program, you can call them at 915-351-4090 or contact Adriana Saenz at email@example.com
