Speculation surrounds ID of female body found in Illinois river...

Illinois police are working to identify human remains found by crews working to clear the banks of the Des Plaines river on Wednesday.

The remains were found near Channahon, roughly 50 miles from Chicago.

They're believed to be female, and have prompted speculation that they could be either Stacy Peterson or Lisa Stebic.

The disappearances of both women attracted the national media spotlight, and Peterson's husband Drew was recently charged in the death of his third wife.

It is unclear how long it will take investigators to identify the remains.
