EL PASO- A much-anticipated construction project to alleviate congestion at the Schuster exit on I-10 will be started next week.

A press conference is scheduled for January 10th to announce the beginning of the work.

The project calls for additional ramps on and off the freeway to alleviate daily backups caused by UTEP traffic.
