If you have unpaid parking tickets or unsettled traffic warrants, the City of El Paso is giving you one last chance to wipe the slate clean.

The City's ticket amnesty program, which began February 25th and will end this Saturday, March 9th at midnight, allows El Pasoans to pay off their tickets and have all delinquency and collection fees waived.

According to Richarda Momsen, El Paso Municipal Clerk, 117,000 El Pasoans have outstanding arrest warrants, and 17,000 of them have 10 or more.

So far, El Paso has collected more than $2.8 million in unpaid traffic tickets, but officials say there are still lots of violators out there.

The El Paso Police Department urges you to take advantage of this discounted price for paying traffic tickets because after March 9th, officers will arrest you if you still have an outstanding warrant.

You can pay for your tickets by mailing you payment to Municipal Courts, 810 E. Overland, El Paso, TX  79901.
