With students back in school this week, one local author wants to encourage you as a parent to be highly motivated to help your child this school year.

The name of the book is "Learning Doesn't Have To Be Complicated."

The author, Paulette Wingo spoke with Ben Swann about what parents can do to help build better communication with teachers.
