CNN — The House of Representatives voted 255-67 on Thursday to hold Attorney General Eric Holder in criminal contempt for refusing to turn over documents related to the Fast and Furious gun-running sting.
"I had hoped that Congressional leaders would be good-faith partners in this work," Attorney General Eric Holder said Thursday following the House of Representatives vote holding him in criminal contempt for refusing to turn over documents related to the Fast and Furious gun-running sting. "Some have. Others, however, have devoted their time and attention to making reckless charges -- unsupported by fact -- and to advancing truly absurd -- truly absurd -- conspiracy theories."
