UPDATE: Name of dead teen released

HORIZON - A car accident has claimed the life of a teenager.

Sheriff's Deputies say two cars collided head on Sunday afternoon in the 13,300 block of Horizon. The impact killed a 19-year-old man, identified as Mario Viscarra, and injured several others, including a 5-year-old girl.

Deputies say Viscarra was driving the car that, for unknown reasons, swerved into oncoming traffic.

The three injured people, including the child, are expected to be okay.

Deputies say speed and alcohol are not factors of the crash.
