Police captured one of El Paso's most wanted felons Friday, wanted for deceptive business practices in home repair.

An officer spotted 39-year-old Henry Chavez as a passenger in a car on a southeast City of Socorro Street. Chavez bolted from the car and the officer chased him over a fence. When Chavez hid in a home, City of Socorro detectives set up surveillance and busted Chavez as he went on the move minutes later.

Chavez was arrested and will be booked into the El Paso County Jail on warrants for possession of a cocaine and deceptive trade practices.

In the case of deceptive trade practices, Chavez was accused of taking money for repairs that were never completed.

According to the Sheriff's Office, Chavez accepted cash to build a storage shed and buy supplies, but never showed up to do the work.
