Holloman AFB Sending Water Purifiers To Haiti

HOLLOMAN AIR FORCE BASE, N.M. (AP) - Holloman Air Force Base is
preparing to send generators and water purification units to help
earthquake-stricken Haiti.
The commander of Holloman's 49th Materiel Maintenance Squadron,
Lt. Col. Mark Shoviak, says Holloman's Basic Expeditionary Airfield
Resources is sending four filtration units with the initial
deployment and four more later.
One unit can produce up to 30,000 gallons of drinking water per
day.
Shoviak says Haitians are in dire need of clean water.
