The two women that were stranded last night in the Franklin Mountains are safe.

The hikers called 911 for help last night by cell phone.

We're told the pair got lost hiking to Coleman trail and after it got dark they couldn't find their way back.

They were rescued at 11 p.m. and crews brought them down the mountain on the F.A.A. Tram rail.

There were no reported injuries for either woman.
