Hikers Rescued by El Paso Fire and Police

EL PASO -The two women that were stranded last night in the Franklin Mountains were rescued by ten members of the El Paso Fire and Police.

The hikers called 911 for help last night by cell phone.

We're told the pair veered off the Coleman Trail and after it got dark.

They were rescued at 11 p.m. and crews brought them down the mountain on the F.A.A. Tram rail.

There rescue team provided food, water and warm clothing for the two.
