High Winds, Cooler Temperatures and Gloomy Skies: Will We Get Rain?
EL PASO – High winds, cooler temperatures, and gloomy skies; all signs point to wet weather hitting the borderland, soon.
Chief Meteorologist Chuck Debroder said temperatures would dip, and he was right.
Ominous clouds over Scenic Dr. this morning made you forget why it's called the Sun City.
While some El Pasoans said the weather change is an adjustment, others said they're happy about the cooler weather.
"I know it's going to be a long, hot summer. This is a nice little respite, and then we'll get ready for the rest of the hot summer,” said Simon Chandler, in downtown El Paso.
"You can get mixed-up, because you don't know what to wear in the morning...I had to pick up first, and when I saw that it was kind of cold, I prepared myself,” said Julio Aleman, in Central El Paso.
Now, the question is whether we'll get some much-needed rain in the area. Tune into Newschannel 9 at 5, 6, and 10 for your forecast.
