Turtle poachers lead Florida police on high-speed chase...

Poachers accused of targeting slow-speed prey led Florida police on a high-speed chase Tuesday night.

It all began when a Brevard County Sheriff's Deputy saw a truck swerving and began to follow.

The deputy attempted to pull over the vehicle, but the driver sped up to 90 mph.

The passengers then began throwing beer cans out of the truck.

The deputy following the vehicle got a flat tire and crashed into the woods.

Eventually the truck's driver pulled over on an I-95 on-ramp.

In the truck deputies found a soft shell turtle, a violation of the Florida wildlife law.

Of the four men, two are father and son.

The son, Brandon Kincaid, was put under arrest for DUI and eluding authorities.

Another man involved in the incident, Allen Dickerson, was placed under arrest for violation of probation on a DUI.

The deputy who crashed his vehicle was not injured, however his cruiser had $4,000 of damage.
