Health Centers Offer Low-Cost Adult Vaccines

The City of El Paso, along with the Dept. of Public Health celebrated National Immunization Awareness Month throughout August . This year, the joint annual observance with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) will include a limited supply of the following vaccines on a first-come, first-served basis: Hep A, TWINRIX (Hep A and Hep B), and HPV for adults. Clients will be charged an administrative fee of $10.00 for one vaccine, and $20.00 for two or more. 

Beginning September 1, 2012, the cost of adult vaccines will increase to $25.00 per vaccine. The change only applies to adult vaccines, and the cost for children's immunizations will remain the same. The vaccines will be available at the following health center locations:

Administration/Preventive Medicine - 5115 El Paso Drive, Suite B
Henderson - 721 S. Mesa
Northeast - 5587 Transmountain
Tigua - 7862 San Jose
Ysleta - 110 Candelaria
Westside - 5195 Mace
