A well known haunted eatery is going to be featured on the SyFy Channel tomorrow. Monteleone's Ristorante is an Italian restaurant in central El Paso that's had it's fair shares of scares.

Owner Gary Monteleone says the activity has been going on for many years, even before the restaurant opened its doors. He says there's been countless ghostly encounters and today he named a few of them.

"The bad things were going on the kitchen we had pans of lasagna flying off of tables. We''ve got just a whole lot of things but the worst thing to me was one evening I was closing up and it looked like a charred hand and forearm coming through the door. When I get to about where I'm at right how you could hear pounding on the door," said Monteleone.

He says he's lost a number of employees and customers over the years due to the paranormal activity that goes on at the eatery. Wednesday's show will air at 8 p.m. mountain time on the SyFy network. Montelone's is located at 3023 Gateway West.

I watched the SyFy channel on Wednesday night of the Paranormal Witness show and loved what I saw about the restaurant. I always like watching ghost hunting shows. Any ghost hunting show that there is on TV, I have my eyes glued to it. I have had something happen to me and also my husband in England back in the mid 80's, so I know what the owners of the restaurant are going through. It wasn't a bad one like theirs. I am from Alamogordo and would love to see this place.
