Hanukkah Begins

Tonight marks the first night of the Jewish holiday Hanukkah.
The celebration goes on for eight days and eight nights. Families light the menorah each night and usually exchange gifts, too.
There were festivities right here in El Paso, including a candle lighting ceremony at Chabad-Lubavitch of El Paso on the west side.
Tonight is a celebration, celebrating the freedom of religion," said Rabbi Yisrael Greenberg.
This is the 25th anniversary for the candle lighting ceremony at Chabad-Lubavitch of El Paso.
