A haunted house in Central El Paso won't be as scary this year because of thieves.
This Halloween, crime tape makes this home look like an actual crime scene.
Neighbors are upset that about $500 worth of Halloween decorations were stolen yesterday afternoon.
Everything from strobe lights to a smoke machine were taken from this family.
David Stonecypher says it is going to take years to get everything back.
"They just took it all. I couldn't believe it. They actually came and took the electronics from here. Anything they could sell, they took. They really didn't steal from me, they stole from the kids, from the neighborhood because we were going to have a good time," Stonecypher said.
Stonecypher says they'll put on a haunted house but he's afraid kids will be disappointed this year without the decor they've worked so hard to pay for over the years.
