Gun Call Leads to Cocaine Arrest

El Paso, Texas – Officers from the Westside Regional Command Station have charged one man after the investigation of a man with a gun call late Tuesday evening. The investigation revealed that a Westside Patrol officer investigating a man with a gun call at 533 Executive at 11:43 p.m. on Tuesday, June 22, 2010 located a vehicle matching the description at in the 4800 block of Montana. Alfredo CARANZA was identified as the operator of the vehicle and officers located 3.9 grams of cocaine inside the vehicle. CARANZA was charged with Possession of Controlled Substance (cocaine) Over 1 gram and Under 4 grams. He was booked into the El Paso County Jail on a Bond of $2,500.00.
