Guilty Plea in Teen's Death Leads to 10-Month Probation, Community Service
EL PASO — More than two years after an 18-year-old Burges student was killed in a hit and run, the driver finally pleaded guilty in court.
Johnnie Boatright, 18 was found dead lying in the middle of Dyer. Police arrested Fernando Sifuentes for hitting her with his pickup without stopping.
Thursday he pleaded guilty to accident involving death. He will serve 10 years of probation and 300 hours of community service.
